Application Overview

FLOSEAL reconstitution

1. Quickly apply FLOSEAL directly to the source of bleeding.
 
Do not inject FLOSEAL Matrix into blood vessels. Not intended for prophylactic use.

2. Use adequate amounts of FLOSEAL to completely cover the tissue defect.

3. Immediately maintain FLOSEAL at the site with a moist gauze for 2 minutes with gentle approximation to benefit of the tamponade effect.

4. Always gently irrigate excess FLOSEAL away and suction it out of the wound.

NOTE: Steps 1, 2 and 3 can be combined by applying FLOSEAL directly to a moist gauze first then use the gauze to both apply and approximate FLOSEAL.
